Our Cradle

Our Cradle is a small web development studio I started in Honolulu. The idea is simple: build websites for businesses that do not have anyone technical on staff, and handle the accounts, domains, and email records along with the site itself. It is early, and I am still working out what the business actually looks like in practice.

I built the studio’s own site in August with Claude’s help. It is a static site rather than a platform build, and while I am still making changes, the basic structure is up and running. I also set the pricing, wrote the copy, and handle client contact from the first email through to handover.

The work so far has come from one project leading to another. Pacific Consulting Hawaiʻi was my first client site, and they gave me permission to write about it here. They also referred me to my current project, Mana Hawaiʻi, an e-commerce store selling Hawaiʻi-made goods into the Japanese market. That client decided to work with me after looking at Krafty Case and how I had set it up, since it showed I had run e-commerce operations firsthand rather than just read about them. I have their permission to write about that project as well. Two clients is not a track record yet, but both came from work someone could actually go and look at, which is the part I want to keep doing.
